Barbara Jean was my oldest sister. Barbara always smiled and even now, while I'm so sad, I can see her smiling in every memory I have. She was always generous, always kind and willing. She was always an example and a light to me all through the years of my life. The world tilted the day she left it, and I don't think it will tilt back.

Barbara, if you're still close, know that you are loved, always and forever.

My Beloved Sister Barbara Jean, I Love you forever. You have been here all my life & you are powerfully missed by all of us. You have been so generous & loving your whole life for all your sisters, family & friends. If not for you most years of my life I'd never have received a birthday card or a letter. Thank you, Precious sister of mine, I will see you again, I AM sure.

With greatest sympathy to Eric, Paul and family on the passing of this great mother, wife, friend and believer. She was especially insightful about people. She brought joy to many, including us. Barbara was truly a special person and will in our memories forever.

Barbara was so special - I never heard her raise her voice. She had an 'aura' about her that radiated kindness and gentleness. When I was 19 I visited her and Paul in Alameda, CA. She was the first person to introduce me to an avocado (she picked from their yard). Upon their move to Texas, they started rescuing cats and I was so impressed. I know what her animals meant to her. We were lucky to have her in our family. I loved her laugh~
