Uncle Toms vivacious smile and heartwarming soul touched my world from my early youth to eternity. It’s a connection that I always have, and always will treasure dearly. Kathleen, Leslie & Ali who are all part of the sisterhood of my military upbringing and youth…please know my heart shares in both the joy of Toms life well lived and sadness of his loss here on earth. The biggest of Big Hugs and I will be there in Arlington to bid honors and farewells. Love Aldee Rosenberg

I was saddened to learn about Col.Towle as I remember him as an vital, handsome, fit young man in his army uniform serving our country both at home and in Vietnam.
Growing up in Alexandria with Kath as my best friend meant a lot of time at Waterford Road where I knew Tom to a committed husband and father. He was always in great form and his boundless enthusiasm resulted in many antics and adventures and some very interesting purchases including the Christmas present for his 3 daughters ...what teenage girl's life is complete without a Geiger counter?! Then there was the neighborhood yard sale where Tom came home with a tri-color MG for Kath -- needless to say, provided us with many, many memorable times! I also have fond memories of visiting him on is houseboat in Newport Beach, he was truly a character with a large appetite for life who was not afraid to take risks and live life to the fullest. He was a man of deep faith which he modeled for his daughters and he also imbued his "can do" power of positive thinking into all around him, I know those traits to be very evident in Kath and I deeply respect and admire these qualities and I believe they have certainly inspired me and even impacted my life. To this end Tom lives on in those of us who had the privilege of knowing him as he was absolutely one of a kind! Fondly, Suz xoxo Suz

I danced with Tom at Ali and Charlies's wedding and we cut the rug. The man was smooth on his feet.

Uncle Tom was a very special person to the Rosenberg Family. While he was not technically our Uncle, the Towle family is one of the few families we have know most of our lives, as a military family. Tom was an amazing, caring and with age, a kind individual. He attended every major event in my life, starting with my Bar Mitzvah and ending with my fathers interment at Arlington National Cemetery. To get an idea of just how wonderful a father Uncle Tom was, just look at how smart, charming (may have been from mom) and successful his three beautiful daughters became. There was a disturbance in the universe upon Uncle Tom passing, a loss for all. We will miss you deeply.

Sending hugs, Bradley Aldee and Eleanor Rosenberg
